SimpleMeetup

SimpleMeetup is the joint solution of the companies SimpleSignal and Polycom.

The companies combined infrastructure of the Polycom RealPresence platform with the platform of the cloud joint communications SimpleSignal for creation of the solution "video as service" - VaaS. Integration of the RealPresence platform into the new video solution SimpleMeetup will allow to integrate the employees, partners and clients using different platforms and devices.

The new solution combines security, reliability and scalability of infrastructure of the software with low operating costs, ease of use and reliable access of services. The Polycom RealPresence platform gives an opportunity to the user of new video service of SimpleSignal to connect to any device, whether it be the standardized or licensed solution of a video conferencing.

HD

SimpleMeetup has quality of HD level and is available to any number of participants, beginning from two and finishing with one hundred. Cloud video service supplements telephone services of SimpleSignal and can be used as independently, and in combination with telephone communication.

Compatibility

SimpleMeetup is compatible to a broad spectrum of the different video equipment using TIP, SIP, SVC or H.323 protocols (including devices of such producers as: Lifesize, Tandberg, Cisco and so forth). Besides, this service is supported by the multifunction systems for meeting rooms (such as Polycom HDX series or Polycom Group series), stationary videophones (including the VVX 1500 Polycom business phone), software used on notebooks and desktop computers (such as Polycom RealPresence Desktop 2.0) and mobile solutions on smartphones and tablets (including Polycom RealPresence Mobile 2.0 available to free loading on iOS and Android of the device).

SimpleSignal also offers free video calls for all clients of office automatic telephone exchanges. Users can make and receive safe video calls and video messages from stationary or mobile phones.

Reliability, scalability, cost

Infrastructure of the RealPresence platform provides reliability of an operator class, security, the scalability, best in the industry, and also interaction with a broad spectrum of messaging applications. The software of the RealPresence platform was added recently with the first technology of scalable coding of video (SVC) based on open standards which three times increases the capacity of multipoint HD video conference. This innovation will allow to reduce significantly total cost of ownership, to increase performance, compatibility and scalability.

Set of services

The new video solution SimpleSignal supplements a packet of services of the cloud joint communications offered by the company since 2004 in which the Polycom IP phones (a series of the Polycom SoundPoint IP phones) are also used. Services include the PBX with the "one number" function. They are compatible to a broad spectrum of the solutions CRM, Internet services, SIP channels, HD audio conferences, to the stationary systems, record of calls, text messages, conversion of voice mail to the text, sending messages from the fax on e-mail, backup and storage and also to the growing number of voice applications and tools.
