Parallels Cloud Storage is the technology of data storage which is a part of Parallels Cloud Server. With its help service providers can create the failover distributed cluster for data storage which on the performance will be comparable with SAN. At this Parallels Cloud Storage will cost much more cheaper as involves already available, but not used disk space on the available servers. It saves from the need for the selected equipment for data storage which usually is required in a case with SAN, and allows to receive the full-fledged cloud storage at the minimum costs.
Parallels Cloud Storage allows to store and start virtual machines and the containers Parallels, to exclude simple VPS because of failures of hard drives and RAID, to ensure smooth operation of servers, to execute instant live migration of virtual servers and also to expand the volume of available space, without being limited to the volume of an empty seat on a local disk.

Automatically recovers the damaged, lost or unavailable copies of data in case of failure of a disk or the server.
High reliability
Excludes interruptions in service of end users in case of fault of the server. At failure emergence a system automatically switches to backup copies of data and can quickly resume service on other physical computer.
Data protection
- Allows to use checksums and verification of user data. Also executes background check and error correction to guarantee integrity and correctness of data.
SSD caching
