Power and graphic performance

The GIGABYTE U2442D ultrabook is constructed based on the IntelCore i5-3230M processor (2.6 GHz – 3.2 GHz) and is delivered with the preset Windows 8 operating system and the graphic NVIDIA GeForce GT 730M card (2 GB of the selected video memory). Modification of U2442F is equipped with the energy saving IntelCore i7-3517U processor and the preset Windows 8. Cooling and stability

In both models special construction of air vents (one for CPU and one for GPU) provides effective cooling and prevents overheating of the notebook. At the same time noise level remains at the minimum level.

The GIGABYTE company announces entry into the Russian market of the modern U2442 ultrabook with the screen with a diagonal of 14 inches based on the Intel processors Core of the 3rd generation. In Russia two modifications will be provided: U2442N equipped with the productive Intel processor Core i5-3210M with the standard supply voltage, and U2442V with energy efficient Intel Core i7-3517U ULV.

GIGABYTE U2442 is completed with the solid state drive with a capacity of 128 GB from the preset Windows 7 OS (Home Premium or Professional). Thanks to application of high-speed SSD and Intel Rapid Start technology, the operating system is loaded for read seconds, and processes of reading, copyings and data writings take place much quicker, than from normal HDD. For those to whom insufficiently disk space, additional hard drives with a capacity up to 750 GB are provided in different complete sets. Besides, the Intel Identity Protection technology protecting data from unauthorized access is implemented.
