"RSHB-Strakhovaniye" supports safe work of branches as deployment of VPN

The Depo Computers company constructed VPN network with centralized operation for 40 RSHB-Strakhovaniye regional offices, the company reported on February 13, 2013.

Background

For increase in efficiency of interaction of head office of insurance company with all 40 regional branches by management "RSHB-Strakhovaniya" makes the decision - to integrate them the protected network of data exchange.

Complexity of the project in remoteness not only sales points, but also places of insurance events which can be at considerable distance from large localities.

Solution

The first stage of works creates a core of VPN network at the Moscow office. After setup of the equipment and communication channels in regions the customer received centralized operation by network that also raises the security level of all financial transactions. This stage of the project is implemented within 1.5 months.

"At an initial stage of creation of a branch network of the company we addressed several large suppliers of the computer equipment with the offer on cooperation. Criteria for evaluation of offers were experience in the market of IT services, existence of the authorized service centers in regions, reasonable pricing and a possibility of delivery of small batches of the equipment to regions.
