"Lukoil-Inter-Kard" gives all complex of IT structure of customer service to outsourcing

The LUKOIL-Inter-Kard company with assistance of the strategic partner, Jet Infosystems company, performed migration of a data processing center, two processing systems, constructed a failsafe storage system and a centralized system of backup, unrolled virtual environment, reported the press services of the companies on February 14, 2013. Technical support of an IT complex is transferred to outsourcing of Jet Infosystems company.

Background

The JSC "LUKOIL" actively develops, new regions accustom, new gas stations open. All this demanded changes in area of IT solutions, and the management "LUKOIL-Inter-Karda" made the decision on start of the comprehensive program of upgrade of IT and increase in availability of IT services at gas station. As the partner of the project the Jet Infosystems company is selected.

In "LUKOIL-Inter-Karde" jointly with specialists Jet Infosystems audit of IT solutions is booked and the general strategy of development of IT infrastructure including a number of projects is developed.

Solution

The first stage carries out deployment of the equipment in commercial DPC. On the new platform are created: virtual infrastructure with uniform command center, the centralized system of backup, a failsafe storage system, are implemented the automated solutions on ensuring availability of IT systems. Besides, for new DPC the data network is designed and implemented.

Physical migration from old DPC of "LUKOIL-Inter-Karda" of the equipment, specialized software, databases and two processing systems – offline-and a crucial online-system became the next step. At the same time the processing systems transferred to new DPC with the minimum downtime. For this purpose on the old platform it was set to software of replication of virtual machines and the tunnel between two data centers is organized that allowed to automate migration process completely.

In the project solutions of the companies are used IBM, Brocade and VMware.

Further started preparation of systems for transfer to outsourcing. All components of the LUKOIL-Inter-Karda IT complex, including the processing systems are connected to a centralized system of monitoring of the Service center of Jet Infosystems company. Specialists Jet Infosystems perform their monitoring and administration in mode 24х7х365. For the most critical systems time of availability is 99.93%.
