Successful "pilot" motivates SK of Bet on deployment of the platform for the business analysis

QlikTech company together with ATK consulting group announced on February 18, 2013 a project startup on deployment of the platform for the business analysis of QlikView Business Discovery in the "PARI" insurance company.

Goal

According to the results of the "pilot" who is successfully carried out in 2011, in SK "PARI" made the decision on expansion of opportunities of business through QlikView.

"Adoption of the positive solution was influenced by a possibility of rapid implementation of a system and obtaining the first results that the ATK consulting group confirmed during a pilot project — Dmitri Bass, the chief of IT department in SK "PARI" tells. — Besides, we considered expert knowledge of ATC of analytics in insurance market and the adequate license policy of QlikTech. For benefit of the choice of QlikView and ATC also played existence of ATC of QlikView of 1C of the Connector using which we were quickly connected to our main source of data, the accounting system of 1C USK".

Expectations

QlikView will solve three main objectives of business of the "PARI" insurance company: analysis of sales, settlements of losses and calculation of reserves. The analytics of sales is useful to underwriters, sellers and marketing department: with its help it will be possible not only to receive the insurance reporting and a financial result for any period, but also to segment audience of insurance company by the mass of parameters. Settlement of losses and calculation of reserves will also become much simpler: at any moment the employee of the company will be able to see the volume of the stated and settled losses and also quickly — within several minutes — to calculate a reserve on any reporting date and to send indicators to relevant organ in the set type.
