The TBM company implements the system of budget planning

The LANIT company completed the project on implementation of the systems of budget planning and the reporting based on Oracle Hyperion Planning in TBM company, the press service of integrator reported on February 20, 2013.

Configuration

The retail chain stores of TBM contain 60 branches with own warehouses and 95 regional representative offices. The specifics of business demand from management of the company of the quickest response to customer requirements, changes of an internal and external situation, the accurate organization of business processes.

At the time of the beginning of the project the budget of the company formed using the standard office application. Consolidation of data on the company is complicated, maintaining the management reporting was performed in several programs that led to a large number of failures and errors.

Especially difficult reports for the guide to specific cuts of information formed or when translating data in this or that currency, there were difficulties in comparisons the plan fact or the fact fact. Implementation of a specialized full-function system for planning, budget control and the reporting considerably increased effective management of actively growing geographically distributed company.

Result

With system implementation of Oracle Hyperion Planning in TBM process of formation of the actual management reporting is smoothly running. The company passed to the monthly reporting that was represented impossible earlier. The term of preparation of reports was reduced by 2.5 times. Data in reports are most transparent and clear for users. The problems connected with formation of the individual statements in national currencies and consolidated – in euro are solved. A system automatically carries out the plan fact the analysis and comparison of the reporting under the periods. The necessary financial and economic information became available to heads in regional structural divisions of the company, with its help it is possible to manage the current business situation.

During the project the tasks connected with control of budget payments are solved. Specialists of LANIT on the basis of the techniques and algorithms provided to TBM customized the system of formation and calculation of the budget providing consolidation of planned data at the levels of divisions and the company in general in different currencies with preserving of necessary analytics. Reconciliation procedure of the budget is automated and simplified.
