State bodies of Altai Republic work with an electronic document management system "CASE" more than 12 years. In 2000 the project on workflow automation in Government Office of the Republic and in the secretariats of the Ministries of Finance and Economy started. Further the Committee on investment policy, the republican Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Property, the Ministry of forestry, the Ministry of Labour and social development were added to number of users of EDMS.
In 2002 automation of office-work and document flow in the State Meeting Al Kurultay of Altai Republic was begun. Also within implementation of the EDMS "DELO" republican target program "Electronic Altai" it was implemented in all 10 administrations of municipal rural areas of the Republic and in municipality Gorno-Altaysk.
Government institutions of Altai Republic regularly carried out updates of versions of EDMS, mastered new product capabilities, expanded scope of a system.
