APC DIN Rail Industrial Panel UPS (SUA500PDRI and SUA500PDRI-S model) complements the existing range of solutions on protection of power supply in different segments of the market of industrial use: production, water treatment and sewage treatment, automation systems.

The general

The compact UPS differs in high operational readiness and reliability, flexibility of installation and controllability, can be installed on industrial distribution panels or guides of the DIN standard thanks to what is ideal for placement on small industrial squares.

The UPS has a capacity 500 BA and is equipped with the built-in "dry" contacts of input-output which allow to inform on a status of the battery and emergency shutdown without extras. The built-in device of accumulator charging with temperature compensation prolongs accumulator service life thanks to regulation of charge voltage depending on accumulator temperature, and automatic diagnostics (self diagnosis) provides early detection of malfunctions and determination of the moment when the accumulator needs replacement. Notch in a wall and day of the chassis provides external connection of the accumulator to the UPS for fulfillment of requirements of NEC 480.9 (A) and other regional electrotechnical regulations.

Functionality

• One-piece lines of input-output, on jumpers;
• Possibility of installation of the internal or external accumulator; 3 m a cable for connection of the external accumulator are applied;
• The SmartSlot interface for optional expansion cards, such as payments of network administration or Modbus;
• The replaced accumulators which can be installed by the user without the assistance of the specialist;
• The possibility of replacement of accumulators in the "hot" mode, even when works with the UPS from the power supply network, for reduction of idle times;
• Serial port (DB-9, RS232 protocol);
• LED status lights which inform the user on an UPS operation mode: online, from the accumulator, the accumulator is switched-off or requires replacement;
• Sound signals of the notification of the user on the following situations: work from the accumulator, the accumulator is discharged, to replace the accumulator.
