METCOMBANK changes vendor and a corporate system of data storage

The Hitachi Data Systems corporation and JSC METCOMBANK announced on February 28, 2013 implementation in infrastructure of bank of the product HUS for a possibility of further accumulation of amounts of data, receiving a stock of performance on the future, minimizing of the operating and total costs. Delivery and solution integration were carried out by Jet Infosystems company.

Start

By the end of 2011 in JSC METCOMBANK opportunities of the used equipment, as in terms of performance, and free disk capacity are almost exhausted.

By calculations of experts, expansion of volume of data storage on the current platform - an expensive action, and the problem of insufficient performance could not be solved. Models operated by DWH are laid already off and further technical support of these systems would be given rather expensive. Taking into account these factors, the bank announced competition on complete replacement of the set platform. During selection of applicants the bank selected the solution of Hitachi Data Systems company.

Solution

Delivery and implementation were performed by specialists of Jet Infosystems company.
