RTU platform 1.7 is set to VoIP in laboratory of convergent networks SPbSUT

RTU VoIP-platform 1.7 of MFI Soft company is set in educational and research laboratory of convergent communication networks of department "Switching systems and distribution of information" St. Petersburg State University of Telecommunications of professor M.A. Bonch-Bruyevich. Thanks to RTU 1.7, it was succeeded to build a single test network, the including laboratory of convergent networks and other laboratories of department. The grand opening of the updated laboratory of convergent communication networks took place on February 21, 2013 at which were present: head of Federal Communications Agency O.G. Dukhovnitsky, rector of SPbSUT S.V. Bachevsky, dean of faculty CC, SK and VT L.B. Buzyukov, department chair of SK and RI B.S. Goldstein, representatives of OJSC MegaFon company and teachers of SPbSUT.

Now during educational process on the proving ground of laboratory possibilities of RTU VoIP-platform 1.7 will be shown to students of SPbSUT. The fact that future specialists of communication, purchasing elements of professional skills, will be able to study development of leading Russian vendor of the MFI Soft occupying 12% of the market of VoIP-solutions of Russia is pleasant. Having come to work to the telecom operator, graduates will be already familiar with the platform and will be able to use its opportunities most effectively.
