JSC TEVIS carries out upgrade of EDMS after a release of the new version

JSC TEVIS completed upgrade of EDMS and transition to the Docsvision 5 system, the IT Universe company integrator reported on March 4, 2013.

Prerequisites

After the announcement of the Docsvision 5 system the company management made the decision on migration on the new platform for connection of additional functionality and significant expansion of quantity of the automated tasks.

"TEVIS" uses Docsvision since 2011. Initially a system was implemented for automation of "classical" office-work: work with the entering and outgoing, organizational and administrative and internal documents. Also a system was used as the centralized storage of electronic documents. Since the beginning of operation in a system about 30 thousand documents are registered, the total amount of the database was 45 GB, the expected annual gain makes 25 GB. Number of users of a system of 75 people.

Achievements

The configured functionality of a system allows to automate a full stroke of passing of documents: from their preparation, completion, approval and signing, before registration. Specialized cards of documents and instructions are developed, business processes taking into account specifics of work of the customer are configured.

Earlier, in use Docsvision, requirement - to expand systems capabilities therefore in parallel with works on transition to the new version of a product there were works on setup of new features came to light: creation of regular (periodic) instructions, reviewing of draft documents, line scanning and barcoding of documents for decrease in labor costs on scanning and document registration.
