Editing

Kentico CMS provides the powerful interface for editing content - Kentico CMS Desktop. It allows to change the user content, to browse it before the publication, to create structure of the website and to manage expansion units.

Visual editor

The built-in visual editor is completely integrated into a system. Its use allows site editors to work with content as if they use Word. There are its opportunities:

• basic and expanded formatting
• insert of the loaded images and flash rollers
• creation of links to other pages, external files and websites

Developers can change the toolbar of the editor for restriction of opportunities of editing.

Tree and organization of content

Site content is organized in the form of a treelike iyerariya of documents (pages). The hierarchy (content tree) represents a site map and structure of navigation.

Templates of pages

The templates of pages created by web designers can be used by editors for several pages with an identical marking. Templates of pages contain the edited zones where editors enter the text, or they display the structured documents.

Schedule and archiving

It is possible to specify when the document should be published and when it is removed from the publication. The document can be archived, i.e. they will not be displayed more on the website, but will contain in storage of content.
