The complete solution based on "Chameleon" products is intended for prevention of unauthorized information transfer on channels of cellular communication and networks of wireless access and also an exception of a possibility of different remote control of devices. Line products Chameleon have high efficiency of blocking of a signal, allow to limit as much as possible (to localize) blocking zones, have the radiation level of an electromagnetic field meeting the operating sanitary standards thereby combining in themselves technical capabilities which are not done not possessed by any of the devices presented at the market.
The managing program allows to make remote inclusion / switching off of the modes of blocking, to remotely regulate a blocking zone, to make settings and to perform diagnostics of operability of the devices which are a part of a complex.
The system of blocking of information transfer on channels of cellular communication and networks of wireless access based on line products Chameleon can be used on the most different objects, such as conference rooms, meeting rooms, offices of heads and also in cinema halls, theaters and concert halls. When developing a complex the possibility of creation of distributed systems using which it became possible to protect objects of any complexity, the area and territory was implemented. A system is easy-to-work and does not require specially trained personnel.
Appointment
The "Chameleon" product has the following modifications:
- "A chameleon 2G-3G" it is intended for prevention of unauthorized information transfer on channels of cellular communication of CDMA450, EGSM900/1800, UMTS(3G) 900, UMTS(3G) 2100 standards.
- "A chameleon 4G" it is intended for prevention of unauthorized information transfer on channels and networks of wireless access Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Wi-Max, LTE and the DECT standard.
If necessary, production of products for the blocking of other standards of cellular communication and networks of wireless access including which are not used in the territory of Russia is possible.
Principle of work
Work of all product modifications is identical and based on the following principle: The device makes spectral assessment of all frequency band of transfer of base stations and access points based on which carrier frequencies and levels of channels of their work in the protected zone are calculated. On the basis of calculations the record of blocking which power on each channel depends on results of the taken measurements and calculations is originated. The inner pattern of a signal of blocking is similar to structure of the desired signal received from base stations and access points. The amplitude-phase distortions created in a special way are entered to a signal of blocking. Such method of formation of a signal of blocking allows the device to work effectively at any number of the cell phones and subscriber devices of wireless access which are at the same time in a protection zone and at any modes of their work, for example such as mode of jumps on the frequency (frequency hopping).
The complex can work in the following modes:
"Detection – blocking" In this operation mode blocking is performed automatically at detection by the receiver of a complex of radiation of the mobile device. Time of radiation of a disturbance signal is several hundred microseconds, then the complex returns to the mode of detection (search) of signals of mobile devices. After a rupture of communication (the termination of radiation of the mobile device) the signal of blocking is switched off. Blocking time in the mode of attempt of establishment by the mobile device of the entering or outgoing communication is 2-3 seconds. At suppression of the mobile device with already established connection and being in the speech channel, the interval of blocking increases, without exceeding 20 seconds. The mobile device, as a rule, remains on service in a communication network. In this mode the zone of blocking is regulated not only by the power of the blocking signal, but also complex receiver sensitivity.
"Continuous blocking" In this operation mode blocking is performed constantly. This operation mode of a complex is used in that case when the radiation level of the mobile device is insufficient for its sure detection by the complex receiver. The zone of blocking of action of a complex in this case is regulated only by the power of the blocking signal. In all operation modes of a complex only mobile devices which are in the created zone of blocking are blocked and noises for work of cellular communication and networks of wireless access behind its borders are not created. After adjustment of a zone of blocking spectral assessment of frequency band of the transferring base stations and access points, calculation them bearing and levels of signals and also formation of a signal of blocking and calculation of its power is made by the device in the automatic mode without any participation of the operator.
Distinctive features of the complete solution "Chameleon" from the existing locks of cellular communication and networks of wireless access.
The existing devices of blocking of cellular communication and networks of wireless access can be separated into three types:
- Directors of a protecting noise in all frequency band of work of base stations of cellular communication and access points of wireless networks (for example, Mosaic products, Morpheus, Ginger, the Barkhan and others);
- "Intelligent" locks with the concentrated noise type on each canal (for example, RSMultijammer, RSJamminiCDMA2000, RSJamminiGSM products and others);
- The complexes of blocking of cellular communication and networks of wireless access originating a disturbance signal, adaptive on power level, which inner pattern is similar to structure of a desired signal (a line product Chameleon).
Devices of the first type (directors with protecting type of a noise) are ineffective in city conditions, territories and areas where active base stations of cellular communication and access point of wireless networks with big power levels are located. Practice of use of such locks showed that for providing a zone (radius) blocking in 3-5 meters, the signal power of blocking should be 2-4 W on each frequency range. At such power level of a signal of blocking it is impracticable to provide localization of a zone of blocking and to fulfill the requirements of sanitary standards.
Devices of the second type ("intelligent" locks with the concentrated noise type) 80 – 90% of time work in the mode of the director of a protecting noise for the reason that cellular operators constantly use an operation mode of base stations with jumps on the frequency (frequency hopping). With respect thereto the blocking zone significantly decreases. Also, for the CDMA-450,UMTS(3G),LTE standards the concentrated noise is inefficient as these standards provide compensation of noises of this kind. For blocking by such noise of the specified standards the result will need incommensurable increase in level of its power. With increase in number of base stations of the standards EGSM 900/1800, CDMA-450 and UMTS(3G) output levels of signals of mobile devices significantly decreased that led to reduction of probability of their detection in the protected zone. In such conditions blocking of exchange service stations in the "intellectual" mode is impossible.
The Chameleon complex belongs to the third type of devices. The complex performs acceptance and digital signal processing of base stations of cellular communication and access points of the wireless networks working in the protected zone and originates a blocking record, adaptive on power level, with amplitude-phase distortions of a special form which for the mobile device is simulation of a desired signal. It allows to use effectively a complex for sure blocking of all wireless standards and data transmission (CDMA450, EGSM900/1800, UMTS(3G)900, UMTS(3G)2100, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Wi-Max, LTE and DECT). Required total power of a signal of blocking is significantly lower (much and more), than devices of the first and second types at protection of the areas, identical by the size. Practice of application of a complex showed that for suppression of cellular communication and channels of networks of wireless access in the protected zone the signal power of blocking of Chameleon, as a rule, is from 10 to 200 MW that is 15-20 dB less in comparison with the power of a protecting noise.

Based on the complete "Chameleon" solution the possibility of creation of distributed system of blocking is provided. Such system allows to equip the whole buildings or their parts, with a set of premises, rooms, offices, halls, etc. where it is required to exclude a possibility of use of mobile devices. Each premises are equipped with separate devices of blocking which number and the locations is defined proceeding from the standing tasks, feature of the protected object and a radio-electronic situation in the place of its stay. All devices integrate in a local network via RS-485 (EIA/TIA-485) interface. During the work of a complex in the detection blocking mode information on the output of the mobile device comes to air on the automated workplace of management of distributed system and by means of the special software Chameleon is displayed time of such exit with a binding to the protected premises.
Also managing program in relation to each device which is composition allows:
- make remote inclusion / switching off of the mode of blocking;
- select an operation mode "detection blocking" or "continuous blocking";
- to remotely regulate a blocking zone;
- perform diagnostics of operability of a system.
