Biography

Was born in the village of Annenskoye of the Terbunsky Region of Lipetsk region.

Education

In 1980 - law department of Voronezh State University.

Career

In 1981 it is elected the national judge of Gryazinsky city national court of the Lipetsk region.

Since 1991 heads the Lipetsk regional court.

Political, civic engagement

Was a delegate of all All-Russian congresses of judges and since 2000 is the permanent member of Judicial council of the Russian Federation.

In December, 2008 at the VII All-Russian congress of judges Markov is elected as a member of Presidium of Judicial council of the Russian Federation.

In a judgeship more than 28 years work. "Honored lawyer of the Russian Federation", judge of the top qualification class.

Awards, achievements

For long-term model execution of service duties, a specific contribution to development of the judicial system, an initiative at execution of an office debt it is awarded with a departmental award – the degree medal "For Merits before the Judicial System of the Russian Federation" II.

It is awarded with the Prize sign of Judicial council of the Russian Federation "For service to justice".

In June, 2004 the Decree of the Russian President it is awarded with an Order of Honour.
