ESKO "Tyumenenergo" books audit of systems in order to avoid incidents in the field of security

The Informzashita IT company completed the project on check of level of security of the automated systems of technology management (ASTM) of Tyumenenergo, the press service reported on March 13, 2013.

Result

The revealed vulnerabilities allowed to develop the cybersecurity standard for all of ASTU of the enterprise, to formalize actions for reduction of information security of ASTU in compliance with requirements of the standard. Increase in efficiency and transparency of processes of data protection in ASTU "Tyumenenergo" became a final result of the project.

"Special interest of the enterprise in project implementation is connected with the fact that violations in work of objects of ASTU 'Tyumenenergo' can lead to really serious effects, – Alexander Zenkovsky, the director of the department of work with energy industry of Informzashita company noted. – Together with colleagues from Tyumenenergo we could also find ways for decrease in possible financial, reputation and other losses. The project in itself confirms responsibility of the management of the enterprise, and its successful accomplishment in short terms – professionalism of his employees".

The developed cybersecurity standard represents the list of organizational technical requirements on information security support of ASTU. The standard considers requirements of regulators, the existing Russian and international standards, corresponds to the best world practices.
