"Loyalty Partners" passes the East to the new system of a business intelligence and the reporting based on IBM Cognos 10 BI with participation in the project of specialists of consulting company Columbus, the press service of the customer reported on March 15, 2013.

Maturity of changes

Need of transition to more reliable, functional and productive system is caused by the active growth of client and partner segments of business programs.

The Loyalty Partners East company decided to update completely operating analysis system and reportings to provide more operational and high-quality processing of constantly growing amounts of data of participants of the Program. As the partner the consulting company Columbus is selected. The companies cooperated within product introduction of the version of IBM Cognos 8 BI earlier.

Deployment

The project proceeded within two months. Specialists of Columbus solved problems of installation and setup of components and applications of the new version of IBM Cognos 10 BI, transferred data to the updated system. The project team configured OLAP means for the multidimensional analysis of customer bases, the carried-out actions, sales volumes of partners, the added points that simplified the subsequent formation of operational and financial statements.

Project deliverable in "Loyalty Partners the East": more productive, fault-tolerant and reliable InformSystem.

Iron in the project

The analysis system and reportings is unrolled on four primary servers running OS Solaris 64 and Windows Server 2008. The additional tuning of the solution performed by specialists of Columbus provided load distribution on a system, maintaining optimum level of its performance.

The operating officer "Loyalty Partners" Denis Kruchinin noted the East: "The new version of IBM Cognos 10 BI provides fast processing and the analysis of large volume of client data, reporting in all necessary formats and cuts. We define essential interests and needs of participants of the Loyalty program of MALINA by this system more precisely, we can adjust working conditions with our business partners, create relevant offers, support by that the operating strategy of the company and reveal new reference points of development".
