Alfa Insurance Company on August 17, 2021 announced the completion of the implementation of the information security management system (SMIB) and confirmation of its compliance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 27001:2013.

ISO 27001:2013 establishes certain requirements for SMIB to confirm the ability of the organization to protect its information resources. This standard contains the best world practices in the field of information security management.

Alfa Insurance has passed all stages of verification. 2013: Confirmation of compliance of IT services management system with ISO/IEC 20,000-1: 2011 requirements

Alfa Insurance was the first among Russian insurance companies to confirm the compliance of the IT services management system with the requirements of the ISO/IEC 20,000-1: 2011 quality standard.

The Russian Register Certification Association conducted international certification of the operational processes of the Alfa Insurance information technology department for compliance with the ISO/IEC 20,000-1: 2011 quality standard. Alfa Insurance was the first Russian insurance company to receive a certificate of compliance of the IT services management system with the requirements of this standard regarding the development, implementation and support of IT services for the insurer's business units.
