The administration of the city district Samara implements one more EDMS

The i-Sys company announced on March 21, 2013 end of the main part of the project of workflow automation in administration of the city district of Samar the ED system on the DocTrix Platform 2010 platform.

The customer faced the choice from two systems: DocsVision and DocTrix on the Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 platform. A choice was made for benefit of DocTrix as this system assumes connection of employees from jobs on different OS and from any mobile device.

Vladimir Makhlin, the technical director of the company IT Universe - responsible for problem definition from the customer, noted: "To us it was necessary not only to collect and formalize requirements of the customer, but also to simulate processing of documents and the related information. One of the main problems at this stage was the large volume of the analyzed requirements caused by the width of functionality of a projectible system and also need of a consistent combination of elements of electronic and paper document management".

Solution

Technology basis of a system: Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 and Nintex Workflow 2010. The configuration of the AIS "Samara" is developed on DocTrix Platform 2010.

By March 21, 2013 a system is put into operation to the customer.

The identity of EDMS is shown in everything, here one of striking examples: if at commercial customers the centralized document registration is most often used, then in administration of the urban district Samara for territorially separated divisions document registration by each of structural divisions was implemented, for each of them the numbering is provided, roles and access rights are distributed, the principle of single information input is provided. The staff of different structural divisions does not see documents of each other, but can find them using functionality of advanced search" - Arkady Zolotovitsky, the director of production i-Sys told.

Earlier all departments worked according to the regulations. During project implementation the uniform scheme of interaction and joint work of divisions was constructed, a system based on DocTrix Platform provides its accomplishment.
