The IC RTO GPA at the enterprises "Gazprom tsentrremont"

Since October 01, 2012 at the enterprises of Gazprom tsentrremont LLC the Information System of Repair and Maintenance of Gas-distributing Units (ICs RTO GPA) based on the software package STAR PC developed by AB Sistem LLC is put into commercial operation. Moscow, on October 01, 2012. The AB Sistem LLC company announced input at the enterprises of Gazprom tsentrremont LLC in commercial operation of information system IC RTO GPA, developed by AB Sistem LLC based on software package STAR PC.

The Gazprom tsentrremont LLC company is a general contractor on execution of works on repair and maintenance (MRO) of gas transmission network JSC Gazprom. A considerable part of the performed works are works on a MRO of gas-distributing units (HPA). GPA represents expensive, technology difficult object working in the conditions of the high pressure and big rotational speeds. Works on repair and maintenance of GPA require involvement of highly qualified specialists, the expensive equipment and spare parts, and also accounting and storage of a large number of information on preparation and carrying out repair and documents.

Gazprom tsentrremont LLC charged to AB Sistem LLC company to develop the IC RTO GPA system allowing (1) to increase the accuracy and justification of work planning, the order of spare parts and use of resources (2) to increase controllability of execution of works due to functional inspection of terms, qualities of works, observance of requirements of labor protection and environment protection, (3) to create the updated library of technical and technology documentation necessary for correct work. The IC RTO GPA should automate business processes of the central office and Territorial Departments on forecasting, planning, scheduling and control of works on a MRO, and also business processes engineering the center for maintaining technical and technology documentation, and regulating and sample documents.

The AB Sistem LLC company developed and successfully implemented at the enterprises of Gazprom tsentrremont LLC the IC RTO GPA system based on the software package "System of Technology Administration of Resources" (STAR PC) developed in the company and methodology of the description and process automation of a MRO. A system uses the advanced information technologies, the convenient and easy user interface in training and use, and is capable to work as online, and at the bad or absent communication (in the mode of periodic synchronization). A system also has the program interface allowing integration with the information systems created on the basis of systems SAP R/3 1C Oracle , etc.; integration can be performed as at the level of data exchange, and seamless integration by means of web service.

System implementation of the IC RTO GPA allowed:

• Provide proved, monthly updated, work planning and the order of spare parts on the basis of technology of work and real technical condition of GPA and compressor workshops where GPA are set.
• Provide reasonable budgeting, according to technology of work and real technical condition of objects of works.
• Increase quality of work, therefore, to raise service life of GPA and reduce the probability of their emergency exits out of operation.
• Lower purchase costs of spare parts, stocks of unclaimed spare parts and to provide control correctness and timeliness of delivery of spare parts that in turn allowed to lower a downtime of specialists and the equipment.
• Reduce injury rate and probability of emergencies when working.
• Provide security in the face of the operating GPA of the organizations (Transgazov) and controlling organizations JSC Gazprom and Rostekhnadzor.

A system was developed and implemented within a year (including trial operation). Now specialists of AB Sistem LLC perform technical support, user training and the help to technical management on input of the technology and regulatory information. A system is also considered for implementation in Transgazakh and Department of an overhaul of JSC Gazprom.
