From 2013 to 2020, Trushnikova served as director of the Department of Public Procurement of the Sverdlovsk Region. From 2020 to July 1, 2025, she acted as Director General of International Digital Technologies LLC and Head of the Procurement Division of ANO University of National Technological Initiative 2035. It is noted that Trushnikova regularly improves her qualifications in the fields of public procurement, anti-corruption activities and management. She was awarded the diploma and gratitude of the governor of the Sverdlovsk region. He has the class rank of full state adviser of the Sverdlovsk region of the 1st class.

2025: Appointment as CEO of the Pharmacy State Pharmacy Chain

Marina Trushnikova has been appointed Director General of the State Autonomous Institution of the Sverdlovsk Region (GAU SO) "Pharmacy." This was announced on July 1, 2025 by the regional Ministry of Health.

As general director of the Pharmacy chain of state pharmacies, Trushnikov was replaced by Andrei Gerstner, whose employment contract expired on June 30, 2025. Gerstner headed the GAU SO "Pharmacy" from 2020, and before that he served as deputy head of the MKU "Committee on Advertising" in Tyumen.

According to RBC, until 2020, the State Unitary Enterprise SO "Pharmacy" operated in the Sverdlovsk Region - the only pharmacy chain in the region that was engaged in the sale of narcotic drugs. In October 2019, against the background of losses to Pharmacy, the Sverdlovsk authorities decided to reorganize the enterprise. As a result, in May 2020, the network was transformed into a state budgetary institution of the Sverdlovsk Region (GBU SO) and transferred to the management of the Ministry of Health of the region. Subsequently, the form of ownership was changed to GAU.^[1]
