NIIAS prepares an intelligent system of control of railway transport for the Russian Railway

Consultants "Business Logic 2.0" jointly with specialists of Process office JSC NIIAS developed methodology of modeling and described a number of production processes of JSC "Russian Railways" for implementation them in the Single intelligent system of control of railway transport, the company integrator reported on March 28, 2013.

In December, 2012 in JSC NIIAS the project on creation of the Single intelligent system of control of railway transport (ISCRT) began. The beginning of the project was preceded by a stage of preparatory work on development of methodological base and to the description of production processes of JSC "Russian Railways" in a system implementation scope. For accomplishment of these works in JSC NIIAS the Process office which part the staff of key production divisions of institute was was created. The main objective of Process office - development of complex process model of productive activity of JSC "Russian Railways" for automation in ISUZhT.

Requirements of the description

For the description of business processes the ARIS tools, in particular, the products ARIS Business Server, ARIS Business Architect, ARIS Business Designer and ARIS UML Designer are used. Ensuring interrelation of business process models with data models, ontologic model and models of the user interface allowed to organize effective interaction of technologists, analysts and software developers at problem definition, their formalizations and implementations in a system.

"It is logical and justified that the methodology of the description of business processes of ARIS which became the standard in JSC "Russian Railways" is used also in subsidiary companies of holding, – Andrey Koptelov, the director BPM experts of the company "Business Logic 2.0" noted. - Together with the customer's specialists we finished the Set of rules of modeling of processes and business architecture of JSC "Russian Railways" and "classical" methodology of ARIS, adapting them to problems of design of the Single intelligent system of control of railway transport".
