Network storages ASUSTOR of a form factor of RACK are intended for installation in 19 ″ a server rack. 4 and 9 disk solutions ASUSTOR are addressed to consumers of small and medium business and also branches of large enterprises.

These products are continuation of the product AS6 series announced by ASUSTOR in November, 2012 and have a related hardware platform with products AS6 of a form factor of T (tower). The ASUSTOR company began release of own series of business storages of a rack-format with the high-level failsafe AS-604RD and AS-609RD models, the constructed base of the platform of new generation Intel Atom D2700 and equipped with the duplicated power supplies, two ports Gb-Ethernet, the eSATA and USB 3.0 interfaces and also a possibility of "hot swap" of disks. This step is dictated by two practical reasons: desire to provide to consumers a high quality product from a series of the devices which are in the greatest demand among business consumers and to reserve an initiative of release of the budget version of the same models for expansion of sale of all line.

As well as all AS6 series of the products ASUSTOR new rack-models work running ADM OS (ASUSTOR Data Master) that provides them stability in work and ample opportunities on application in the different fields of business. The built-in opportunities of ADM OS give the chance to use ASUSTOR NAS as storage of the file and block level with support of iSCSI, provide users with a huge number of options for reservation of valuable content in the active and passive mode, including integration with RALUS — the agent for remote control reservation of Symantec Backup Exec for the Linux -/UNIX-servers.

Among the applications pre-installed in ADM OS focused on the corporate consumer it should be noted Activity Monitor (the utility for tracking of key parameters of the network drive) and Access Control (the module for creation of accounts of users and management of access rights to network storage).

All devices support backup between servers through Rsync, FTP and Amazon S3. Besides, each network storage ASUSTOR has a possibility of instant access to the corporate App Central web portal for loading it is necessary for software.

Compatibility of the products ASUSTOR with Citrix, WMware and MS Hyper-V open for them access to solutions on virtualization. Support of cross-platform (Windows, Mac OS and Unix family of OS), integration into domains and Windows AD and also services of separation of access up to the level of subfolders the rack-products ASUSTOR turn into the powerful tool for the solution of business challenges.

Except above the described functions, the ASUSTOR NAS servers support data protection, stored in folders of the general access, on AES technology that conforms to requirements of the most exacting customers, providing the maximum level of confidential information protection.

The new rack-products ASUSTOR have the certificate of GOST-R. the Recommended retail price on 1U AS-604RD is 54900 rubles, and on 2U AS-609RD — 79969 rubles. Both products are already available to shipment from warehouse of the distributor.
