IPP "Triad" independently implemented EDMS

At the beginning of 2013 the implementation project of an electronic document management system and interaction management (EDMS) of Directum in TRIADA engineering production company started. The Ukrainian office of Galaktika corporation which is the authorized partner of DIRECTUM company in Ukraine acts as system provider.

The TRIADA company is engaged in accomplishment of the engineering works connected with design of industrial control systems, means of antiabnormal protection, means of local automation and so forth. The specifics of engineering production company define existence of a large number of project, estimate and design documentation. On each project the card file of documents which during the project can be approved, be improved, change, be replenished with new data is conducted. All these changes should be considered and documented, including chronology of change of documents, routes of the movement and approval, terms of reaction of responsible persons, etc. It becomes extremely difficult to carry out these tasks with accumulation of a large number of documents since specialists should hold a part of information in the head. It is necessary to remember as when it is necessary to approve, transfer, check.

For the purpose of decrease in influence of a human factor, the organization of a competent flow of dokumet and also for business process optimization, connected with project implementation in IPP TRIADA LLC the decision to automate all internal document flow of the company using EDMS was made. The DIRECTUM system was recommended by consultants of Galaktika corporation as the most suitable for these purposes because it is simple in use and closes all tasks connected with the effective organization of electronic document management. The DIRECTUM system corresponds to the concept of ECM (Enterprise Content Management) and supports complete lifecycle of management of documents.

Chief engineer of IPP TRIADA LLC Vladislav Lukyanchik: "Using the DIRECTUM system we automate business process management of the company: service of customer orders, preparation and approval of documents, uniform registration of all entering and outgoing correspondence, control over timely execution of tasks by responsible persons. Development of the project regarding management of project document flow and integration with the accounting systems is also possible".

The TRIADA company plans implementation of EDMS DIRECTUM by own forces with advisory support of technical specialists of TsO of Galaktika corporation in Ukraine. In the near future training of specialists of IPP TRIADA LLC in the center of the certified training of DIRECTUM based on the Ukrainian office of Galaktika corporation will be provided.

End of the Project

On November 19, 2013 the Directum company announced end at the TRIADA enterprise by specialists of engineering manufacturing enterprise of independent system implementation of electronic document management under the direction of Galaktika corporation.

In the first decade of October, 2013 the staff of IPP TRIAD company was certified in the center of the certified training of DIRECTUM based on the Ukrainian office of Galaktika corporation. Training of key experts began not right after acquisition of the software product. The company management made the decision that about preliminary training of IT specialists that learning process took place at the level of advanced users.
