The east Siberian state Academy of Education updates EDMS

The east Siberian state Academy of Education updated the automation system to "E1 Euphrates", the Cognitive Technologies company reported on April 2, 2013.

Solution

The east Siberian state Academy of Education tested and implemented the new version of the E1 Euphrates system.

Components

Upgraded version includes:

• mailing of notifications on external mailboxes of users;
• automatic import of documents;
• advanced mechanism of creation of routes (visual editor of routes);
• advanced mechanism of setup of user rights;
• document registration from MS Office and the conductor of MS Windows;
• support of version control of the edited documents.

Previously

The east Siberian state Academy of Education operates electronic document management system since 2006. The solution to update a corporate system of automation to the 16th version is connected with expansion of functions of the documentary ensuring management (DEM) in the State academy and connected with this increase in number of functions which are not available in the previous version of EDMS, in particular, it was about use industrial DBMS MS SQL as base for E1 and a possibility of deployment of a database server and the application server on different computers.
