OFPS of Russia across the Amur region is connected to communication channels of MegaFon

MegaFon signed the public contract on providing in use of inter-chip digital links with the Office of the Federal Penitentiary Service (OFPS) of Russia across the Amur region, the press service of operator reported on April 4, 2013.

Plans and parts

The operator will integrate in a single virtual private network (VPN) a number of objects of FPS in the territory of the area.

In accordance with the terms the contract the operator will connect data transmission channels of IP VPN capacity 1 Mbps of OFPS across the Amur region in the city of Blagoveshchensk and five objects of department in the territory of the region in the cities of Blagoveshchensk and Free, the settlements of Vozzhayevka and Takhtamygda, the village Srednebelaya.
