The SMP Bank confirmed compliance to requirements of the standard of security of the cards

SMP Bank underwent the procedure of certification on compliance to requirements of the international standard of data protection in the industry of the PCI DSS payment cards (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard). The full stroke of works was spent by specialists of the Digital Security company having the statuses QSA and PA QSA.

As told CNews in the company, at the first stage of works specialists of Digital Security booked preliminary audit as a result of which recommendations about carrying out a number of works for reduction of a processing center to compliance to requirements of PCI DSS were developed. And auditors of Digital Security all defects were corrected by joint efforts of specialists of bank, and after carrying out final tests (testing for penetration, ASV scanning, QSA audit) on March 20, 2013 the bank received the certificate of conformity of PCI DSS.

At the beginning of 2014 the SMP Bank successfully confirmed the certificate on compliance to requirements of the international standard of data protection in the industry of payment cards – PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard). This year audit again was booked by specialists of the Digital Security company having the statuses QSA and PA QSA.

The bank completely conforms to the requirements of the standard including, in addition, existence of the protected network, enciphering at data transmission of holders of cards and restriction of physical access to such data as regular testing of systems and processes of security.
