Leaving Cisco
In April, 2013 one of veterans of Cisco with a 17-year experience, John McCool, left the company. It will be succeeded by Tom Wilburn, Bloomberg reported.
McCool in addition to a position of the technology director was the vice president for industrial solutions and also headed division of Borderless Networks. A third of revenue of Cisco, according to own data of the company is the share of these directions.

The analyst of Pacific Crest Securities Brent Bracelin considers that McCool left the company for the sake of an interesting startup or passed to competitors, but so far plans of the former top manager of Cisco with an accuracy are not known.
McCool is the authoritative manager and is widely known in circles of specialists. He started the career together with Steve Jobs in NeXT Computer. It was also a part of the command which created Cisco Catalyst, a product which allowed the company to take that place in the market of network equipment that she retains still.
