WMS "1C Logistics: Management of a warehouse" was implemented by specialists of AXELOT company in a warehouse of Hatber-Kazakhstan LLP, the company integrator reported on April 10, 2013.

For more rational use of the areas, fall forward and quality of selection of orders, the management of Hatber-Kazakhstan LLP made the decision on implementation in a warehouse of a specialized management system – WMS.

In the company different versions of the software and service providers of automation of a warehouse were considered. Having compared characteristics of the WMS systems and having studied approaches of integrators to project implementation for territorially remote client users, Hatber-Kazakhstan LLP stopped on the Russian WMS "1C Logistics: Management of a warehouse". For implementation invited AXELOT company.

Before giving start to project works, specialists of AXELOT visited a warehouse of Hatber-Kazakhstan LLP, investigated a current status. On the basis of data retrieveds created the scheme of use of WMS. After entering of necessary changes into the standard version "1C Logistics: Management of a warehouse", developments of integration with a corporate information system at the 1C: Enterprise platform specialists of AXELOT visited the customer's warehouse again to provide training of future users of WMS and to bring a system into operation. More than two months are spent for project implementation.

With WMS in a warehouse in Almaty 3 operators and 10 storekeepers work with radio data collection terminals. Under control of an automated system transactions of acceptance and return from the client by quantity and quality, placement according to zoning of a warehouse, selection, formation of sets, shipment and inventory are executed. For some groups of goods account on expiration dates and serial numbers is kept.

The purchased and implemented module of billing will allow Hatber-Kazakhstan LLP not only to calculate storage costs and processing of goods for home company, but also to render services of safe custody to the third-party companies.

In the project the problem of accounting of bailors is solved. A reason for making changes in standard approach was the fact that as bailors in a warehouse presumably own clients of Hatber-Kazakhstan LLP will act, on storage the same names of goods will arrive. Therefore not to get every time the new nomenclature for physically same goods but unloaded from different corporate systems of clients, account of goods on bailors is kept by batches. For implementation of such approach exchange of the nomenclature between a corporate system and WMS is implemented on barcodes of units of storage of goods.
