The EEC federal grid company created service of terminal access to the IT resources

The Telecom-Guard company completed the project on creation of a system of terminal access for "Federal grid company of the unified power system" Open joint stock company, the press service of the company reported on April 15, 2013.

Appointment

A system is intended for simultaneous remote access more than 1 thousand users of executive office and branches of the company to the centralized information resources. With its help effective and safe interaction of all divisions of the company is provided.

Solution

The single centralized system of terminal access to the main business applications of the company is implemented taking into account modern technologies, based on the software of key leaders of the IT industry: Microsoft, Citrix, Vmware according to the development strategy of JSC FGC UES.

Safety at access to resources of a system of terminal access through public networks is ensured due to use of enciphering of transmitted data by means of hardware-software providing Citrix Access Gateway and Check Point Connectra by means of use of mechanisms of two-factor authentication using the eToken USB keys of the certificates X.509 created by Certification center JSC FGC UES.

As a part of the created system:

• Subsystem of virtual machines under control of a complex of virtualization of VMware;
• Subsystem of services of terminal access Citrix XenApp;
• Complex of auxiliary services of ensuring system operation:
• the computing platform based on the equipment of HP;
• the services of naming and authorization based on Active Directory OS service Windows intended for reliable authentication of users and access isolation to terminal applications.
