In April, 2013 Depo Computers started the new direction of business - the cloud platform of DEPO BPaaS ("The business platform as service") offering to customers lease of IT infrastructure. Service located at the address depocloud.ru.
Within the new direction to users three ready service packages on lease of jobs with a different set of components and a possibility of change of their configuration depending on needs of the customer are available. Packets are expected the companies with the number of staff of 1-25, 10-500 and 10-1000 people.
The first of them - DEPO BPaaS 1000 - is intended for the SMB enterprises and, constructed on open-source technologies and popular cloud services. For the company executive the platform of electronic shop, an accounting system, setting and control of accomplishment of tasks, and for the employee is provided in him: a personal desktop in a cloud, business mail, a resource for document storage and files, the office suite for work with documents, a system on work with clients (CRM), SMS informing and mailings. The cost of a packet begins from 1 thousand rubles a month.
The packet of DEPO BPaaS 2000 is based on technologies of virtualization of Microsoft. The offer includes the portal and the workflow system, mail services, means of collective work, terminal jobs of users, application servers, means of remote access, and its cost begins from 10 thousand rubles a month.
DEPO BPaaS 3000 is intended for the medium-sized and large companies in a cloud, contains functionality of a packet of DEPO BPaaS 3000, but at the same time in it technologies of virtualization and Microsoft, and VMware are available. Customers who already use virtualization can use this business platform for creation of product-based hybrid cloud infrastructures of VMware. The cost of this packet begins from 60 thousand rubles a month.
In addition to the ready DEPO BPaaS platforms the company also offers customers classical cloud services, such as cloud storage of documents and files, lease of virtual servers based on hypervisors of KVM, Microsoft and VMware, lease of applications and also virtual desktops (VDI) in a cloud.
Depo told TAdviser that the company placed physical infrastructure of service on the square rented in third-party DPC which has certification on compliance of fault tolerance to the Tier 3 level. For launch 20 servers of the DEPO Storm 3350S1 enterprise-level became available to clients.
It should be noted that in the company declared plans for entry into the market of cloud services in 2011 when Depo began to adhere to the new business strategy assuming development of the direction of integration.
The CEO of Depo Sergey Eskin told on April 17, 2013 Tadviser that within the next 3-5 years he expects a share of cloud services in the general structure of revenue in 15-20%. By April, 2014 in the company expect approximately 300 active customers of service and revenue about $3 million in the signed contracts.
Exact investment volume into deployment of the new direction, Sergey Eskin did not report, having noted only that it makes "several million dollars".
