Svetlana-Optoelectronics Ltd - one of the complexes, largest in Europe, on development and serial production of LED light sources on a full fabrication cycle.

The company releases lighting devices based on LED which are used in all segments of economy, implements the complex projects on transfer to LED illumination of objects of railway transport, the chemical, energy, oil and gas industry, warehouse and engineering infrastructure, largest in the country, road and housing and communal services. The company occupies a considerable share in the markets of LED components, fire and technical products and LED lighting. The share of the company in different segments of these markets in Russia makes from 20% to 50%.

• confirmed with spring of 2013 of Svetlana-Optoelectronics Ltd compliance of the quality management system to the international standards ISO 9001:2008 (A quality management system. Requirements") and ISO/TS 16949:2009 (Requirements to SMK of the enterprises which are engaged in production for automotive industry).

Experts of URS-Russia checked procedures of planning, the analysis and improvement of SMK, production processes and shipments of products, stages of monitoring and measurements, providing structural divisions with personnel, and recommended to certifying authority of United Registar of Systems Ltd (USA) to confirm action of certificates.

Svetlana-Optoelectronics Ltd - one of the first Russian companies which received the international certificate of compliance to ISO 9001, and at the moment the only Russian producer of LEDs which confirmed compliance to the most tough international standards ISO 9001:2008 and ISO/TS 16949:2009.

According to the deputy CEO for quality of Svetlana-Optoelectronics Ltd Pavel Zhukov, compliance to high international standards – one of the main requirements of modern business. "And though such certificates are not obligatory, compliance of products to the international standards defines its quality and demand in the world market. For our company it gave sales opportunity of products on the European and American markets", - Pavel Zhukov emphasized.

History

2015: Based on the Russian technologies and components the Finnish LED lamps will be issued

The Russian LED plant "Svetlana-Optoelectronics" signed in the spring of 2015 the partnership agreement with the Finnish producer of LED lamps on use of the component parts and technologies in products. Among deliverable components: LED payments (including LEDs and lenses) and case shaped parts. Based on advanced technologies of Svetlana-Optoelectronics holding the Finnish producer performs final assembly, adaptation of products under requirements of the European standards, testing and packaging. Products are turned out are around the world familiar to "Made in Finland" known with marking high-quality goods.

At the first stage the release of street and industrial lamps which already successfully passed all tests for compliance to regulatory requirements of European standards on electrical safety, efficiency, degree of protection against influence of the external environment (IP), environmental friendliness and lack of harmful substances (ROHS) is begun. Existence of certificates of the European Union allows to perform sales of lamps in all European countries. On products the serious guarantee – up to 7 years is provided.

The products are already used on pilot objects. One of them – the Finnish city Fat where street LED lamps with a possibility of a dimmirovaniye are installed (changes of extent of lighting due to smooth reduction of power supply voltage). In the conditions of northern latitudes and during the white nights it is especially energy efficient as gives the chance to regulate energy consumption depending on length of light day. Responses of residents Fat positive as illumination considerably improved at night.
