Promsvyazbank upgrades engineering infrastructure of the main DPC

The Technoserv integrator completed upgrade of the engineering systems of the main DPC of Promsvyazbank, the press service of the company reported on April 23, 2013.

Project

As a part of the complex project of upgrade of DPC - audit of the existing engineering systems, IT resources, design, step-by-step transfer of IT infrastructure of bank from DPC on the platform of the reserve telecommunication center of Promsvyazbank without interruption in rendering services and losses of business process management, supply of equipment, accomplishment construction and balancing and commissioning and also comprehensive tests of the engineering systems of DPC and the return transfer of IT infrastructure on the main platform.

Solution

Within the project the contractor performed works on replacement in the building of DPC of a full range of the engineering systems – power supply, conditioning, fire extinguishing and security. At the same time, earlier not demanded premises are equipped under server rooms - the useful area of DPC is expanded up to 180 sq.m., and power consumption increased up to 500 kW. All engineering systems are integrated into a uniform complex and provide a possibility of operational expansion.

Project implementation took about 12 months.

Readiness

Project implementation upgrades the systems of the guaranteed and uninterrupted power, the structured cabling system, the systems of lightning protection and grounding, automated systems of air conditioning and gas fire extinguishing and also a control and management system for access (ACS), the system of prevention of leakages are completely updated. At the same time the main nodes of a system of automatic equipment are duplicated and constructed using solutions of leading manufacturers of the equipment - ABB, Finder, WIKA, WAGO, Danfoss, and technological solutions of such vendors as Airedale, APC by Shnider Electric, Rittal, Stulz, Conteg were applied to creation of an engineering complex.
