The international consulting company BearingPoint and JSC Uralkali signed the development contract and support of a corporate information system on the platform of business applications Oracle, reported the press services of the companies on April 23, 2013.

Fact

The contract has no precedents in the chemical industry and is not the private for the company consultant - planned date of execution ten years from which two years - creation and start of a new corporate information system, and within the next eight years of BearingPoint it is necessary to accompany it.

Within the project BearingPoint will provide to Uralkali a full range of services, including delivery of all necessary equipment and the software.

Sphere

The project covers practically all activities of the contractor, including production, personnel management, sale and transportation, supply and stocks, management of repairs, financial consolidation, budgeting and the reporting, construction, etc.

Pavel Vakhnin, the CIO of JSC Uralkali, noted: - Implementation of a new information system is aimed at performance improvement and efficiency of business processes in Uralkali. The big team of specialists from both companies will work on the project. Project implementation will allow the company to reach required, essentially new, performance level of processes.
- This project is very important for us as it is development of our relations with Uralkali which began within the project of increase in efficiency of administrative and auxiliary processes in this company. Knowledge of specifics of business processes of Uralkali helps us to create complex approach to accomplishment of the large-scale project on implementation of a corporate information system, - Natalya Krasnoperova, the CEO of Beringpoynt LLC emphasized.
