BMW agreed about creation of a corporate segment of VPN network in Russia

The T-Systems company signed the contract with BMW Group Russia for creation of corporate network, the company reported on April 25, 2013.

Objectives

The virtual private network should be built on the basis of the international network MPLS platform of company T-Systems, IntraSelect Fixed Connect. All employees of BMW Group Russia will get access to applications of the company and also will be able to be connected to corporate resources far off. Offices of BMW Group Russia company will be connected to the Moscow MPLS nodes of the international network T-Systems by the channels passing along territorially spaced routes for ensuring full redundancy and, as a result, almost absolute indicator of availability of service.

The project will take place within three months, and the contract is signed until the end of 2018.

Alexey Toskin, the CEO of T-Systems CIS, emphasized: "Specialists of T-Systems give support to the Russian representative offices of such international companies as Shell, Volkswagen, MAN, Bosch, integrating the Russian platforms of clients into their international corporate networks.
