MegaFon transferred to outsourcing technical support of branches in regions

On August 12, 2015 the Maykor company announced the beginning of the project of rendering services in ensuring stable work of IT infrastructure at offices of the Volga region branch of MegaFon. To IT support for a period of two years 42 regional offices of the telecom operator are transferred to the outsourcer to Volga federal district.

The list of obligations of MAYKOR includes service:

  • computer hardware,
  • office telephone communication,
  • setup of mobile devices of users,
  • connection to a local network,
  • fault recovery and upgrade of customer premise equipment and systems,
  • diagnostics and recovery of the failed spare parts.

In a complex these measures are focused on increase in efficiency of operation of infrastructure and prolongation of term of its service.

Megafon, 2014

Among tasks there is MAYKOR within the contract – technical maintenance of the final equipment of a video conferencing, office equipment, consultation on operation of the equipment and software.

"In accordance with the terms the contract, we provide to the Volga region branch of MegaFon all necessary services which cover needs of employees for local IT support and guarantee stable work of infrastructure of offices", – Pavel Rastopshin, the senior vice president of MAYKOR for corporate sales said.

Development of the project

On April 11, 2016 it became known of the tender Megafon Retail as a result of which MAYKOR are transferred to technical support of IT infrastructure offices and cellular shops of the operator in the Volga region, the Caucasus, Siberia, the Center and the Northwest[1].

Advertizing MegaFon (2014)

Based on the centralized tender for MegaFon and Megafon Retail companies the number of service contracts was reduced. In Megafon Retail said that it will help to organize technical support of IT infrastructure of offices and cellular shops by uniform rules and standards on the scale of all company, to adjust effective process of interaction with outsourcers with a minimum load on the accompanying structures.

MAYKOR became uniform contact center on all questions of operation of the IT equipment for five branches "Megafon Retail".

Belonged to duties of the outsourcer:

  • service of a computer hardware,
  • service of office telephone communication,
  • setup of mobile devices of users,
  • connection to a local network,
  • fault recovery
  • upgrade of customer premise equipment and systems,
  • diagnostics
  • recovery of the failed parts.

MAYKOR renders to MegaFon and technical support services of the cash equipment, payment terminals in cellular shops across all Russia.
