Biography

Was born on May 24, 1970 in Leningrad, Russia.

Education

1987 - graduated from the Kalinin Suvorov Military School. Was trained in the 6th company of the 4th platoon, served to the deputy commander of a platoon.

1991 - graduated from the Ryazan Highest Airborne command school with a gold medal as "An operating engineer of armored and automotive vehicles".

2008 - graduated from department of the state construction and the right of the Russian academy of public service under the President of the Russian Federation.

Military career

Shevelyov Andrey Vladimirovich is a commander of a paraborne prospecting company of the 76th Guards Chernihiv the Decorated with the Order of the Red Banner 2nd degree of a division of the Order of Kutuzov of Airborne troops of the Leningrad Military District, guard the senior lieutenant.

Since 1987 - in Armed Forces of the USSR.

July, 1991 - July, 1993 - the commander of a prospecting platoon of a separate prospecting company.

July - September, 1992 - participated in the Ossetian-Georgian conflict.

November - December, 1992 - participated in the Ossetian-Ingush conflict.

July, 1993 - December, 1993 - the deputy commander of a separate prospecting company - the instructor of VDP.

December, 1993 - November, 1995 - the commander of a separate prospecting company of the 76th Guards Chernihiv division of airborne forces of the Leningrad Military District (city of Pskov).

December, 1994 - the commander of a paraborne company. The lieutenant Andrey Shevelyov urgently organized continuous trainings and field occupations of the subordinates, hastily training them in what is necessary in the war and what them has almost nobody and there was no time to train in the early nineties.

December, 1994 - got a severe wound (an end-to-end bullet wound of an upper third of a hip with a change and smashing of a bone), but continued to order the subordinates and to direct fight. Thanks to its dedicated actions intelligence agents held on before approach of a reinforcement.

November, 1995 - March, 1997 - the deputy commander of detached prospecting battalion.

March - August, 1997 - the deputy commander of the strengthened paraborne battalion of permanent readiness of the 76th Guards Chernihiv division of airborne forces of the Leningrad Military District.

1997 - 2001 - the officer-tutor of disciplines of the St. Petersburg Suvorov Military School.

2001 - 2003 - the commander of the 3rd company of Suvorov Military School students - the teacher of military disciplines of the St. Petersburg Suvorov Military School.

Political career

December, 2003 - will propose as the candidate of the State Duma of Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation according to the list of the United Russia Party as the member of the Central control audit committee of a batch.

On December 7, 2003 - it is elected the deputy of the State Duma of Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the 4th convocation from Northwest single-candidate constituency No. 210 (St. Petersburg).

On April 27, 2007 - the vice-chairman of the State Duma Committee of Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on credit institutions and financial markets.

On May 15, 2008 - the vice governor - the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Ryazan region.

On June 16, 2011 - the acting as the governor of the Tver region.

On June 29, 2011 - Andrey Shevelyov's nomination was made by the Russian President to Legislative Assembly of the Tver region for investment with its powers of the head of the region.

On July 7, 2011 - deputies by a majority vote supported his nomination and gave authority to the governor of the Tver region. On the same day the ceremony of taking office will be held.

On March 2, 2016 President of Russia Vladimir Putin exempted Andriy Shevelyov from the governor's duties Tver region^[4].

1998 - the president of the St. Petersburg regional public charitable foundation of Heroes of the Soviet Union and Heroes of the Russian Federation.

2007 - the chairman of the St. Petersburg city department of the All-Russian public organization "Fighting Brotherhood"^[3].

On October 6, 2011 - handed over 450 milliliters of blood within the stock "Present a Hope Drop"^[5].

On June 12, 2012 - took part in opening of a new water intaking node with the station of cleaning of drinking water in Likhoslavl^[6].

On June 13, 2012 - participated in celebration of Day of Likhoslavlsky district and the City Day of Likhoslavl. Andrey Shevelyov together with citizens participated in a solemn procession along the downtown which came to the end with a flower-laying to the Victory Obelisk^[7].

On September 25, 2012 - participated in a delivery ceremony in commercial operation of power unit No. 4 of the Kalinin NPP (The Tver region, Udomlya) - the thirty third atomic power unit in power supply system of Russia^[8].

21 okbyabrya 2012 – participated in the actions devoted to Day of the coat of arms and flag - to characters of glorious past and future of the Tver region, love of residents of Tver to the small homeland, pride of fellow countrymen which glorified it^[9].

On March 28, 2013 - laid the foundation for digital broadcasting in Tver, having clicked "start" at start of the first digital transmitter. Solemn start of the transmitter took place^[10] in the new "Center of consulting support"^[10][11].

On April 6, 2013 - participated in the opening ceremony of a tournament of the International competitions on judo which took place in Yubileyny Sports palace^[12].
