Ecodock company (project "Merkata. The smart cash desk") was created in 2015. Activity of the company began with application programming for work with the Unified State Automated Information System. In April, 2016 the startup received the status of the resident of an IT cluster of Skolkovo Foundation. In the summer of 2017 "Merkata. Smart cash desk" became one of winners of the Russian stage of International contest of the partner IT solutions Microsoft Partner Network Awards 2017 in the Application Developer nomination – Application developer.

Field of activity of the company — automation of not network, traditional retail, delivery of the cash equipment and software. The line of the software developed less than for 2 years and provided by the company includes 4 rates, focused on the different level of automation of outlets – from functionality on work with the Unified State Automated Information System before full automation of outlet (a rate "Merkata. Sales management") and also automation of work with suppliers (rate "Merkata. Merchandising"). Own cash equipment is developed and passes the last tests before start in production.

Co-owners of the company Yury Kushpel and Anton Elikov – entrepreneurs from Yekaterinburg, everyone – with more than 10 years' experience of development and deployment of systems for integrated management of retail and internal accounting in large retail chain stores.
