The second stage of the project of automation of commodity-transport logistics within which future business processes, technical and functional system architecture are developed and in detail described is completed. The first system testing on which users already had an opportunity to check correctness of the configured business processes in a system prototype is held.

Automation is performed based on solutions of Oracle: Oracle Transportation Management, Oracle Strategic Network Optimization and Oracle Business Intelligence.

The system aimed at optimization of planning of cargo transportation will allow to lower labor costs on scheduling of arrangement of vehicles, calculations of planned cost and terms of transportation, selection of routes and tendering process with partners and third-party carriers. A system will allow is automated to create tasks to carriers on the basis of results of planning, proceeding from requirements for transportation of a load, priorities of use of own transport and other conditions. With implementation of a new system which will work via the Internet the logistics of the company will become available and clear. Look at schedules of courts, the schedule of airplanes, it will be possible to combine the necessary route, to calculate the transportation cost on the website of the company.

Implementation happens on methodology of AIM for Business Flows according to which the functionality of a system is configured at once and iteratsionno adapts under processes of the company.

In result of implementation of the project in the company significant reduction of transportation costs is expected.
