The Check Point 1100 Appliance model is intended for ensuring protection of the small companies and branches. The device is based on more productive hardware platform which allowed to implement even for small office of a possibility of modular Check Point technology.

DEVICE 1100 APPLIANCE is designed to provide protection of the small companies and branches. The new version of SmartCenter allows the administrator to reveal quickly security concerns in corporate network.

In 1100 Appliance it is possible to use such modules as the firewall, an antivirus, data encryption in VPN, an intrusion prevention (Intrusion Prevention System, IPS), means of URL filtering and control of applications.

It can work at speed up to 1.5 Gbps and, by calculations of the company, has performance in 31 units of SecurityPower (SP — the system of indicators offered Check Point which will allow customers to measure the needs for protection for "protection force units"). In the device there are ten ports for connection of the local computers working at speeds up to 1 Gbps, USB port and wireless access point. For broadband Internet connection it is possible to select version of the device with the ADSL modem, with the 3G-module of wireless connection or with standard Ethernet-port. Opportunities of the device are enough for fast creation of the protected segment of corporate network in branch of any company.

For ensuring safety of data on the mobile devices Check Point suggests to cipher them. It will be possible to work with the ciphered files using a set of special applications which are delivered together with unrolled in the company of solutions on mobile device management (Mobile Device Management, MDM).

It provides secure access of users to corporate data — before work with documents the user should enter the code of an unblocking, and only after that he will get access to corporate mail, calendars, contacts or other documents.
