Moreton Group made replacement of DocsVision by version 5

The implementation project of the Docsvision system was implemented for MORETON Group by the Dock.Py company, the press service of integrator reported on May 14, 2013.

Preparations

MORETON Group for a long time purchased licenses for the Docsvision platform, but a system did not develop and was not operated. Rapid growth of the company led to increase in document flows and further development was impossible without workflow automation.

The decision on signing of the contract on complex implementation of Docsvision with the Dock.Py company is made.

Pads

The complexity for the project was represented by the information systems which are available in MORETON Group, each of which provided with technology a certain field of business. Besides, in the company there is a large number of documents which lifecycle before implementation of Docsvision included processing in the different systems that slowed down their passing on all processing stages.

Project

Specialists Dock.Py performed development of a new solution for optimization and streamlining of document flows, created uniform electronic archive.

• Integration of reference books with external information systems is carried out;
• integration about the intranet is implemented by the portal and the Active Directory;
• web services are developed for access to documents from other information systems;
• the possibility of drawing up different reports, both on the basis of standard functionality of Docsvision, and using Microsoft Reporting Services is configured. The system of notifications sending on e-mail of staff of MORETON Group of a reminder on approach of term of preparation of documents is developed for improvement of control of performing discipline.

Integration of Docsvision with 1C and the internal portal is carried out that allows to avoid duplication and saves from need of starting documents for the different systems.

Ernest Nabiullin, the vice president for information development of MORETON Group, noted: "As a result of implementation we achieved complete structuring information and received the system mechanism of the centralized storage and control of electronic documentation".

Transition to the version of Docsvision 5

On March 3, 2014 it became known of transfer of an electronic document management system in MORETON group on the version of Docsvision 5. The project was executed by Dok.Ru company.

Updating on the version of Docsvision 5 was performed in the compatibility mode to provide smooth and painless transition of users to the new platform.

Separate types of cards on Docsvision 5 are gradually rewritten that gave to users an opportunity for work in more ergonomic and functional interface. The convenience of the interface helped the staff of MORETON company with work with a new system.
