Rostelecom works with the corporate website

In 2007 Rostelecom started the main corporate website on the platform 1C-Bitrix with the assistance of QSOFT web integrator, the press service of operator reported on May 16, 2013.

Background

"The structure of a former web resource did not meet business needs of the company and required cardinal changes. Besides, the project was difficult and expensive in management therefore together with design decided to replace also a management system for the website. The staff of support department of the corporate website Rostelecom studied all technical solutions which are available at that time and selected the platform 1C-Bitrix. The choice for benefit of this software product is caused by the fact that in 2006 "1C-Bitrix: Management of the website" was very functional and easily scalable system with which a large number of different studios of design and the companies offering services in development and support of Internet resources worked", – Ksenia Titenkova, the head of department of work with Internet resources of JSC Rostelecom noted.
