The implementation project of 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8 in Northgas Ltd company is complete

Northgas Ltd is engaged in production and processing of minerals (gas, gas condensate). Primary processing of gas condensate is performed using own production capacities, secondary processing is made at the third-party processor. The trade zone is located to Novy Urengoy, the head office - in Moscow. The existing information system did not provide requirement of the company regarding management of finance, agreements, stocks, sales and purchases and also did not allow to perform operational production planning. Therefore the management made the decision on implementation of a new information system which will correspond to requirements of the enterprise.

Main objectives of automation were:

  • creation for two divisions of the enterprise of the general information space;
  • optimization of key processes of the company: budgetings, managements of finance, sales and purchases;
  • increase in budget performance monitoring;
  • formation of itemized statements on financial transactions;
  • operational production and financial planning.

As the basic software product for the new IC the solution "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8" as the functionality of this solution allowed to construct the accounting system according to requirements of the enterprise was selected. The 1C: Accounting and Trade company (BIT) having successful experiment on automation of the enterprises of the extracting industry became the partner in implementation.

During implementation the main subsystems of the program were finished according to requirements of the company. Training of staff of different departments is provided, the following sections and business processes are automated:

  • Budgeting.

  • Management of financial resources which included the following accounting blocks:
  • operational financial planning,
  • operating control of budget implementation.

  • Sales management, including:
  • operational production planning,
  • raw materials processing accounting,
  • inventory control,
  • operational planning of tovarodvizheniye,
  • Accounting of trade operations, including export-import transactions.
  • Purchase management.

Main results of implementation of a new information system:

  • The enterprise received the end-to-end managerial system which integrated management of key business processes in a common information space. It allowed to organize and regulate interaction of divisions concerning providing information.
  • Itemized statements on the budget and financial transactions form in the mode "online". The company management plans cash flow and predicts a financial situation of the enterprise taking into account different factors and exact state-of-health data of affairs current and previous periods.
  • Level of control of observance of budgets increased, and the company manages not to exceed the set limits.
  • Thanks to the opportunities of conducting operational accounting of difficult and unique settlement schemes and control implemented in a system under agreements for raw materials processing by third parties and on product sales for which raw materials are not extracted yet financial risks of the organization are significantly reduced.
  • Labor productivity of the employees working in the program increased. The efficiency of activity of the enterprise in general increased.
