Clients — legal entities since March 18, 2013 can use a new subsystem of protection of transactions in the system of remote banking "Bank — the Client", based on SafeTouch technology, the press service of the company integrator reported.

The technology assumes visual control and confirmation of transactions of the user of the Bank — the Client system. The set of SafeTouch consists of a smart card and the reader — the portable device connected through USB port of the computer with an installed system "Bank — the Client". During transaction of the device its main details and a request for vising are displayed by the electronic signature. The user confirms transaction or refuses its commission by clicking of the corresponding button on the reader body.

"Protection of banking activities in the Bank — the Client system is based on use of enciphering of information and electronic signature for confirmation of authorship and integrity of the finance document. Today it is rather reliable — the head of department of information security of M Bank Hitrov Roman noted. — But if the swindler has an opportunity of remote control the computer with the set Bank — the Client service, then in this situation the service will perceive any transaction made using the EDS as fair irrespective of who confirmed it — the client or the malefactor who got access to the operating system of the computer. The risk of similar fraud is completely excluded if the client uses a subsystem of protection of SafeTouch. With its help the client sees details of the registered payment on the special device and mechanically confirms operation".
