Automation of budgeting in Investstroy-15 Group based on software "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8"

Investstroy-15 Ltd is the construction and investment company entering TOP-10, the largest construction companies of Russia. At the moment the company constructs more than 1,000,000.00 square meters of living space.

The economic situation which developed in the second half of 2008 demanded from managers of Investstroy-15 Ltd of more careful and operating control of financial flows with the different detail level (summary planning in general on holding; planning on separate legal entities, on the centers of the financial responsibility; on separate projects). For the successful solution of the standing tasks the company management made the decision to use an automated system based on the 1C: Enterprise platform. As the application solutions implemented on this platform differ in high flexibility in application, ample opportunities on their adaptation under specific objectives of the user and rather short terms of implementation.

For implementation of the professional choice of the suitable software product representatives of Investstroy-15 Ltd addressed to Intensive Center Intk Alyans who is an official partner of 1C Company. The following requirements were imposed to future automated system:

• Existence of the ready-made application solution and practice of its successful implementations at the enterprises of the construction industry,
• Simplicity of the interface and possibility of fast mastering of the program by competent PC users,
• Scalability of a system;
• Existence of the developed technical support.

After a number of consultations and the demonstration of opportunities of different application solutions performed by specialists Intk Alyans, the choice stopped on the accounting system "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8". For its implementation the project team which part representatives of Investstroy-15 Ltd and Intensive Center Intk Alyans were was created.

The company management of Investstroy-15 Ltd set for a project team the task of the fastest implementation in management company of holding of a subsystem Budgeting of the 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8 program.

The conducted examination showed that the standard functionality of the 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8 program is suitable for the solution of the standing tasks. The main problem at the same time was the exception of consolidated budgets of holding of the internal turnovers. The solution of this task was also performed without completion of the program.

As a result of project implementation the subsystem Budgeting of the 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8 software product was implemented. The project was implemented within three months, 5 jobs were as a result automated.

During implementation the following works were carried out:

• The application solution "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8" was installed on the server and computers of users,
• Examination of business activities of the enterprise of the customer regarding planning of financial resources and treasury is conducted.
• Users are trained.

A system is brought into commercial operation.

As a result of implementation it was succeeded to accelerate significantly preparation of the necessary management reporting, to avoid errors of "double entry" and to increase confidence in reliability of the obtained data. What in total gave to company management "Investstroy-15" a flexible planning tool and financial analysis of the enterprise for acceptance of the management decisions adequate to the developed economic situation.

The current maintenance of a system within the information and technology maintenance (ITM) is at the moment performed. Further it is going to connect the implemented system with an automated system of accounting.
