Action Backup

The free Action Backup program is intended for data backup according to the schedule.

Installation

To create the backup copy of any computer as a part of network, it is enough to set Action Backup on one computer.

Advantages

The Action Backup program allows to do backups of home PCs, servers and workstations. In the program three types of backup are implemented: complete (including the files which are not updated from the moment of the last copying), additional (the new or changed files are copied only) and differential (all new or changed files are added to the created backup from the moment of accomplishment of the last complete backup).

The amount of backup copies is not limited: Action Backup supports zip64 format thanks to what there is a possibility of inclusion in structure of copying of big files.

Diagram

Backup procedure can start according to the diagram or at start of the program. The files used by other programs at the time of creation of the backup copy can be copied. Their creation can happen at a complete user session that is convenient for corporate network: backup copies can be created automatically, after the termination of the working day. Backup copies can remain, both on the hard drive, and on FTP servers, remote network resources, CD/DVD carriers. Installation of the password on access to backup files will help to save confidentiality.
