Automation of accounting in Dominantstroy LLC company based on software "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8" is complete

"Dominants" — the trademark of Plitspichprom company, one of leading enterprises of the domestic wood-processing industry making houses from the pro-thinned-out bar and panel and frame buildings of different function: individual apartment houses, apartment houses and public buildings (kindergartens, shops, administrative buildings, hotels). On section of woodworking high-quality glued structural materials (a glued constructional beam, the spliced lamel, a glued bar, the pro-thinned-out glued bar) are marketed. The enterprise makes plate products, unique for the Russian market: the moisture resistant constructional plate of AquaGreen and the moisture resistant floor board AquaGreen floor developed by specialists of the company and certified especially for housing construction. Also the enterprise has own section of woodworking which is releasing materila from which houses from the pro-thinned-out bar are designed.

Earlier account in the company was kept using an information system which did not meet all requirements of the organization. There were difficulties by preparation of the regulated reporting. Operational accounting was not automated up to standard. All types of accounting were conducted separately from each other. The management did not obtain operational information about activity of divisions.

For the purpose of increase in controllability by company management the decision on implementation of the new software product which would allow to cope with the existing difficulties and to increase quality of conducting production, operational and regulated accounting was made.

As the software product for creation of a new information system the solution "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8" which standard functionality completely corresponded to specifics of activity of the enterprise was selected. The 1C: Accounting and Trade company (BIT) having successful experience of automation of manufacturing enterprises and having big staff of qualified specialists became the partner in maintenance.

Specialists of BIT company accompanied the project, giving methodological and consulting user support. In total 10 jobs were automated and the following subsystems are brought into operation:

• Accounting and tax accounting;
• Payroll calculation;
• Calculation of price-work salary for dresses;
• Personnel management;
• Purchase management, stocks;
• Supply chain management;
• Management of retail;
• Sales planning.

As a result of implementation employees got rid of need of accomplishment of many transactions manually. The salary to the employees is calculated much quicker. The quantity of errors at information input decreased that affects reliability of credentials. Detailed operational accounting of materials, products and goods in warehouses is implemented.

Further development of a system, its setup under specific requirements of the enterprise is in the future planned.
