Automation of accounting in INFRA-M Scientific and Publishing Center LLC based on software "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8" is complete

Research Center INFRA-M is one of market leaders of educational literature of professional education. At different tenders of the book, released 'INFRA-M', repeatedly were recognized as the best. The INFRA-M publishing group includes partner publishing houses: NORMA, MASTER, WHOLE WORLD, FORUM, IDES Forum, RIOR, ENTSIKLOPEDIYA, VUZOVSKIY UCHEBNIK, ALPHA M. Special attention of INFRA-M gives to completing of libraries of universities educational literature, and completing is carried out from one copy to custom circulation. The range – 28 thousand names of educational and business literature of 810 publishing houses.

Earlier account at the enterprise was kept using an information system which did not meet all requirements of the organization. There were difficulties at production management which was not automated up to standard. All types of accounting were conducted separately from each other. The new information system which would allow to automate all types of accounting, including production, operational, accounting, tax, personnel records and payroll in one program was required for the organization.

In an analysis result of the market of domestic software products, the choice was stopped on software "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8" which standard functionality as much as possible corresponded specifics of activity of the enterprise. As the partner in implementation and maintenance the company "was selected by 1C: The first BIT" (1C: Accounting and Trade) as it has staff of qualified specialists and has successful experience of automation of the similar enterprises.

Staff of the company "1C: The first BIT" accompanied the project, giving methodological and consulting support to users. In total 10 jobs were automated and the following subsystems are brought into operation:

  • Accounting and tax accounting.

Thanks to implementation the enterprise received convenient information systems for high-quality conducting all key business processes. Time for formation of the regulated reporting, reports to the management was significantly reduced. Employees got rid of need of accomplishment of many transactions manually.

Further development of a system, its setup under specific requirements of the organization, automation of functions is in the future planned:

  • Personnel management;
  • Payroll calculation;
  • Cash management;
  • Budgeting;
  • Product data management – structure of a product;
  • Customer relationship management (CRM);
  • Order management in production;
  • Order management of buyers;
  • Purchase management, stocks, sales, production;
  • Products cost accounting.

The Following Tasks Were Performed:

  • Consultations on the choice of the software and options of its maintenance
  • Sale of the selected software products
  • Delivery of software products in office of the customer
  • Collecting and requirement analysis of the customer to an automated system
  • Planning of stages of works, drawing up job schedule
