Automation of activity of ShOTT Flet Glass Rus LLC using software "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8"

ShOTT Flet Glass Rus LLC is included into international concern of SCHOTT group. Products of SCHOTT presented at the Russian market are a pharmaceutical packaging, sheet glass for home appliances, glass-ceramic panels for stoves, glass for the optical industry and architecture. ShOTT Flet Glass Rus LLC is to Bor the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the enterprise opened at the beginning of 2007 and is engaged in processing of sheet glass for home appliances: makes regiments for refrigerators and wind panels for gas stoves. Clients of ShOTT Flet Glass Rus LLC - the international industrial companies which are leaders in production of home appliances. Products of the company are focused on the market of the CIS countries and Baltika.

Earlier for accounting the information system which did not provide accomplishment of all tasks, necessary for the enterprise, was used. In particular, there was no efficiency in preparation of the management reporting, data were duplicated, there were errors in accounting. All types of accounting were conducted separately from each other, there was no single accounting system. It was necessary to raise accuracy of the data for the analysis and acceptance of management decisions.

For the purpose of increase in controllability by company management the decision on implementation of the new software product which would allow to cope with the existing difficulties and to increase quality of conducting production, operational and regulated accounting was made. The choice was stopped on the 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8 software product which standard functionality as much as possible corresponded to requirements of the enterprise. As the partner in implementation and maintenance of a system the company "was selected by 1C: The first BIT" (1C: Accounting and Trade) as it has staff of qualified specialists, is Competence Center on production and has successful experience of automation of similar projects.

During implementation by specialists of the company "1C: The first BIT" installation and setup of a system were made, user training in workplaces is provided, methodological and consulting support is given to the staff of the enterprise. In total 15 jobs were automated and the following subsystems are brought into operation:

  • Accounting;
  • Tax accounting;
  • Cash management;
  • Order management of buyers;
  • Purchase management, sales;
  • Payroll calculation.

As a result the reliability and speed of preparation of the regulated reporting and reports for the management increased. The number of errors in accounting decreased. Payroll calculation is made much quicker. There was an opportunity to control cash flow and execution of budgets. Employees got rid of need of accomplishment of many routine transactions manually. Further development of a system, its setup under specific requirements of the company is in the future planned.
