Behind office suites of software Telefónica goes to "clouds"

The company Telefónica implements Microsoft Office 365 and Yammer, the press service reported Microsoft on May 21, 2013.

With transition on Office 365 and Yammer the company Telefónica is going to provide faster method of communications of 130 thousand employees, to reduce time for new product development and services and also to reduce costs for the organization of joint work for 20%.

"Locating divisions in 24 countries and the employees speaking eight languages we looked for a possibility of instant translation of a talk in this connection we integrated Microsoft Translator into Yammer, – Adrian Steel, the head of the European sector and the director of the international business in Telefónica noted. – Implementation will help our personnel to work even more effectively and to concentrate on providing high-quality services to clients. We refer communications through Lync and cloud storage of SharePoint to other opportunities, crucial for business,".

Implementation it is going to simplify IT infrastructure of the company at the same time observing specific requirements to confidentiality of data, to strengthen positions of the company in global market.
